Ongoing engagement with community and local businesses remains important to the delivery of the proposal.

Extensive community consultation has been undertaken for the project to date. A Community Engagement Session was held at the Leura Uniting Church on Saturday 17 May 2025 from 1.00pm- 3.00pm, with more than 40 people in attendance.

The SSDA was lodged in late September 2025 and is supported by a wide range of consultant documentation covering aspects of the proposed development including architectural and landscape design, heritage restoration and pedestrian access and parking.

All documentation will be on public exhibition for 14 days. Members of the community are invited to make a submission about the proposal.

Following public exhibition, all submissions will be reviewed and there will be opportunity for the applicant to respond to issues raised in submissions report. An assessment report will be prepared by DPHI.

The community will also have the opportunity to provide formal feedback on the proposal when the State Significant Development Application is placed on public exhibition by the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.
